Mumbai: Our very own cricketers – Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu and veteran Ravi Shastri – have teamed up for a video with a tagline Respect2Protect, that speaks about respecting the act of protecting women’s rights.
The one minute six seconds long video features these sportsmen talking about how men across all age groups must appreciate womanhood and respect to protect her fundamental rights. Take a look at the video here:
At a time when womanhood is sexually objectified, ridiculed, abused – mentally & physically and crime against women are on a rise, such a thought-provoking message from national icons can certainly help create awareness about women’s rights.
