New Delhi: Sri Krishna Janmashtami is being celebrated across the country with fervour on Saturday.
The festival is observed to mark the birth of Lord Krishna. The main highlights of this fun-filled festival are the events of Dahi Handi and Raas Leela.
The Radha Raman temple and Radha Damodar temple Vrindaban remains the centre of attraction for pilgrims in Mathura as Janmashtami in these temples would be celebrated today.
Starting from Govind Ghat after paying obeisance to Yamuna Ji, the Samuhik Nagar Sankirtan Shobha Yatra would start at 4.00 PM and terminate with mass Prasadam ceremony in Mathura.
