Mumbai: Salman Khan launched the ninth edition of reality show Bigg Boss Sunday night amid much fanfare. The hunk of a superstar who is hosting the sixth edition of the popular yet controversial show introduced the participants of the brand new season.
The house of Bigg Boss has witnessed “name-calling”, “fist fights”, “back-stabbing”, “love stories”, “love triangles” and “hate stories” in the past. And this season might have ample of all these since the theme for his edition is double trouble!
The theme of the season is double trouble. And going by the theme, there are 7 jodis/ pairs inside the house, which means the total number of contestants is 14!
TV actors Suyash Rai and Kishwar Merchant, who are a real life couple, have different partners inside the house. Actress Rimi Sen chose Suyash as her partner while Kishwar opted for actor Aman Verma.
There’s another real life pair inside the house- Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Maria Rao. Model Mandana Karimi chose Keith as her partner, while Roadies winner Prince Narula opted for Rochelle.
Interestingly, there’s one former couple too inside the house- Roopal Tyagi and Ankit Gera. However, they too have different jodidars! Roopal was chosen by actress Diganana Suryavanshi as a partner, while Ankit had no choice but to enter the house with singer Arvind Vedga.
