Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party had offered a ticket to Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly to contest the general election next year. It is still suspense that the offer has been accepted by him or not.
The offer had been given through the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and CM of Gujarat, Narendra Modi. Narendra Modi had promised to make Ganguly sports minister in the cabinet if BJP comes in power.
While talking to media, Sourav Ganguly said, “Yes I’ve an offer. But I’m still undecided on what to do. I’ve been busy for last few days. I’ll let you know soon.”
As he met with Varun Gandhi through a common friend in November, the rumors are on peak which related Sourav.
