Noida: A massive fire broke out at a prominent hospital in Noida’s Sector 11 on Thursday morning.
Local reports said that many people had to be evacuated by breaking the glass windows of Metro Hospital even as fire officials reached the spot and began efforts to control the blaze.
While the cause of the fire is not yet known, it is feared that several people – many of them patients – may still be trapped in various parts of the 317-bed hospital which is divided into two units between its heart and multispeciality wings.
