BJP, Congress candidates of Gujarat file nomination for Rajya Sabha pollsAhmedabad: Congress candidate Madhusudhan Mistry and candidates of BJP Shambhuprasad Tundiya, Chunibhai Gohil and Lalsinh Vadodiya had today filed their nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha election from Gujarat.

The saffron party had decided not to nominate any of its three outgoing Rajya Sabha MPs Purushottam Rupala, Bharatsinh Parmar and Natuji Thakore, under its no-repeat policy.

Senior Congress leader Madhusudhan Mistry had filed his nomination papers in presence of Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Arjun Modhwadia, Leader of Opposition in Assembly Shankarsinh Vaghela and other party leaders.
