New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav’s face was blackened today by an unknown person during an event here. Yogendra Yadav was seen on TV channels with a blackened face.
Yadav was speaking to reporters when the incident happened after attending a Women’s Day function at Jantar Mantar. I was not even able to see the person’s face, Yadav said after the incident. You’ll have seen what has happened, he also said.
I was talking to the media and suddenly someone came and threw ink on me and shouted some slogans like Bharat Mata ki jai’.
Congress leader Digvijay Singh meanwhile condemned the incident. It’s in very bad taste; I condemn this,” Singh said.
