#Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and working president and Jharkhand Maha Gathbandhan leader Mr Hemant Soren was sworn-in as the 11th Chief Minister of Jharkhand here on Sunday afternoon.
Jharkhand Governor Ms Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Hemant Soren. a galaxy of Maha Gathbandhan and many political leaders from across the political spectrum graced the occasion at Mohrabadi Ground in Ranchi.This will be the 44th year young dynamic JMM Working president second time taking oath as chief minister of Jharkhand , Along with Hemant Soren, Congress Legislature Party Leader and Pakur MLA Alamgir Alam, Jharkhand state Congress president and Lohardaga MLA Rameshwar Oraon and RJD MLA Satyanand Bhokta were also sworn in as state cabinet ministers at sunday

JMM President and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shibu Soren ji was also present to witness son taking oath ceremony for the second time as Jharkhand Chief Minister.
BJP leader and recently five years completely Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, who lost in the assembly election from Jamshedpur East assembly constituency also graced the swearing in ceremony.
In a big show of opposition party strength, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Rajasthan Chief Ministers Ashok Gehlot, Chhatishgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, and former JDU leader Sharad Yadav, DMK president MK Stalin, were among the senior leaders who attended the swearing in ceremony of CM Hemant Soren.
Other opposition leaders who attended the taking oath ceremony included Bihar Ex Dy CM and RJD’s leader Tejashwi Yadav, AAP RajyaSabha MP Sanjay Singh, CPI’s Atul Kumar Anjan, and D Raja, CPI-M leader Sitaraman Yechury, and RPN Singh, who was Congress in-charge of Jharkhand Assembly Election 2019.
The taking oath ceremony event was as ‘Sankalp Diwas’ by mark beginning of an new era of new Jharkhand.
JMM fought the Assembly elections in Maha Gathbandhan alliance with the Congress party and Lalu Prasad Yadav RJD and got a comfortable majority with fourty seven seats out of 81 seats.
JMM won 30 seats, while Congress win 16 seat and RJD secured only 1 seat, and BJP Won 25 seats respectively in the recently concluded Assembly election. Three other MLAs – three from the Babulal marandi JVM, AJSU 2 seat and one from the CPI ML have also extended their support to the three-party Maha Gathbandhan coalition.
