Jaswant Singh says, won’t return to BJP even if party wins

Jaswant Singh says, won't return to BJP even if party wins New Delhi: Jaswant Singh, who was expelled by the Bhartiya Janata Party after his defiance to contest from Barmer on the party ticket, has said that he will not return into the BJP fold even if the party comes to power and that he is much happy as an independent.

The former BJP leader said that after his party took an extreme step to expel him, his decision to contest as an independent from Barmer was only natural. The BJP took an extreme step, not me. My decision was only natural,” he said justifying his decision.

He also called his son Manvendra Singh’s suspension by the BJP an act of gross injustice and vendetta while clarifying that his son did not accompanied him for campaigning during the elections. Manvendra was suspended from the state BJP and removed from the national executive for anti-party activities.
Taking a grim view of the expression these days that one man (Modi) was controlling the party, the expelled BJP leader said that the BJP never had a single man taking decisions; this was not a natural evolution of the party.
