Patna: The MLAs of Janata Dal (United) and Bharatiya Janata Party had fought in the Bihar Legislative Council building on Thursday. This action had started when leader of opposition Sushil Kumar Modi had raised the question on women security in the state.
BJP MLA alongwith state president Mangal Pandey and JD (U) MLC, Sanjay Singh, reached the well of the house and got involved in physical blows and abused each other, claimed reports.
Sushil Modi had alleged that Singh was trying to obstruct him on speaking the issue. However Sanjay Singh had claimed that are used to stand up from their seats and march into the well of the House for no reason. The House was later adjourned till 2:30 PM.
