DMK alleged AIADMK paying Rs 3000 to every voter to vote for the party

Stalin DMKChennai: Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) on Wednesday complaint to Election Commission and police that AIADMK had given Rs. 3000 and other gifts to voters to solicit vote for their party in Tamil Nadu.

The DMK also attacked on police department and EC and alleged that police acted in concert with the AIADMK while election returning officers took no action to stop the mass bribery.

MK Stalin had also alleged that senior police officers with preventing their juniors from taking action against erring AIADMK members despite complaints.

In his police complaint, Stalin said, “The entire state machinery is abused and misused for ensuring distribution of money by the AIADMK cadres and orders are being issued from the persons at the helm of the administration to facilitate the same.”

He alleged that the money was being transported by police and other officials in their vehicles.

The complaint stated, “There is a complete breakdown of the enforcement by the Election Commission in curbing this menace for the past two days.”
