New Delhi: Have you ever felt the pangs of disappointment that you experienced because of the way society judged you – For being yourself, or for being a little too healthy or a little too skinny? Well, echoing our thoughts Kalki Koechlin has come out with a strong video on the subject, along with the release of her film `Margarita With A Straw`.
Titled as `Stop judging, start living`, the story shows how people with three different attires and personalities were quick to be judged by the society until they did the opposite of what they appeared to be.
A muscular looking guy with piercings and tattoos all over his body was looked upon as a threat till he helped an old lady cross the road. Similarly a fat looking girl who had a packet full of food was laughed upon till she gives away the food to the homeless.
That is the beauty of the video. Let’s pause. We know their name, not their story. As they say, everyone is fighting a battle that we do not know of. In the end, Kalki is seen in the video sipping on a margarita with a straw urging people to stop judging and start living.
