Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Friday morning visited the site of the twin blasts in Hyderabad’s Dilsukhnagar and met the injured. Speaking to reporters later, Shinde said a total of 14 people died in the powerful blasts that took place Thursday evening and 119 others were injured in the attack. “We visited both the places and went to the hospital, where we met some of the non-critical patients. Some of them were serious,” Shinde said. He added that of the injured, six are critical. About the intelligence input received two days ago that blasts may take place in the country, Shinde said the same was not specific and was general in nature. He added that it can’t be said at this moment that police failed to act on the threat perception.
