AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal to end his fast tomorrow

New Delhi, 5th April: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced that he will break his fast on Saturday 5 pm. He is on a hunger strike against inflated electricity bills.

Making an appeal to his supporters Kejriwal said, “Tomorrow is 6th April and a very auspicious day as Mahatma Gandhiji on this day broke the salt law in 1930.”

Addressing his supporters at Sunder Nagri, Kejriwal said, “He would have wished to break his in the presence of Anna Hazare, but due to Annaji’s busy schedule he will not be able to be present tomorrow.” “Annaji has sent his blessings and I thank him for that,” the AAP leader added.

Kejriwal asked all the AAP volunteers to go to their allocated wards and encourage people to fix the disconnected electricity and water lines of the people in their locality.

“Around ten lakh fifty thousand people have signed letters saying they will not pay their bills, the AAP leader said.

Social activist Anna Hazare on yesterday appealed to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) party leader Arvind Kejriwal to call off his fast in Delhi.

Hazare, addressing a rally here, said Kejriwal’s life was important to the fight against corruption as he has a lot to do for the society.

Hazare had made a similar appeal to Kejriwal when he had met him on March 30 in the national capital.
