Karnataka, 13th April: The poll process has begun in Karnataka and the state is all set for the May 5 assembly polls.
The Karnataka legislative assembly election 2013 is to be conducted on 5th may 2013 for 224 assembly constituencies and the result will be announces on 8th may 2013.
The last day for filing nominations for polls is April 17, with scrutiny of papers the next day and the last day for withdrawal on April 20.
The main political parties — The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, Janata Dal Secular (JDS), Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP) and BSR Congress.
A lot of people are predicting that the BJP government is on its way out in Karnataka and the Congress is stated to make a strong comeback.
But before the election The “Ek Mulakat News Survey” and “Shining India News” has already predicted the opinion and survey poll first round results here in which the Congress is leading in most of the constituencies.
The second comes to BJP than JDS and the fourth one for KJP.
However, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will campaign for Karnataka assembly elections with senior BJP leader LK Advani.
Modi has a magical charm which attracts youth as he had done superb work in Gujarat. So will this campaigning change the scenario for BJP in Karnataka polls..?? Future will reveal.
