New Delhi, June 5: Raj Kundra, the owner of Rajasthan Royals had been called by Delhi Police on Wednesday to get any details about accused players in the IPL spot-fixing case and the agreement they had reached with them. Raj Kundra reached Special Cell office of Delhi Police in Lodhi Road this morning.
On Tuesday Delhi Police had invoked the rigorous MCOCA against suspended cricketer 23 persons except cricketers who were found indulge in the IPL spot-fixing scandal for which the “command” originated from underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s outfit. There are total 26 accused arrested by the Delhi Police in the case, out of which Rajasthan Royals’ Ankeet Chavan is on interim bail till June 6 while Sreesanth’s friend Abhishek Shukla is on regular bail. Cricketer Sidharth Trivedi, another player of Rajasthan Royals had became prosecution witness, also came to Special Cell when investigators were talking to Mr. Kundra.
