Acid attack: Husband throw acid on his wife

Lucknow: Whether the Supreme Court of India had made the guidelines for sale and purchase of acid to rectify the crime against women through acid attack, but still the cases of acid attack didn’t ever get demotion. A man, Satish Kumar, allegedly threw acid on his wife in Mujaffarnagar after she failed to meet dowry demands. The victim, who underwent a surgery after the attack last month, had approached the court when police allegedly refused to register her complaint, police said. The woman’s husband and in-laws are at large. Satish Kumar along with his father and two other family members threw acid on the head of his wife Seema after she failed to bring dowry, the victim alleges in the complaint.

Police had registered a case against the victim’s husband, father in law and two others on the direction of court.
