New Delhi: B S Bassi will be appointed as new Delhi Police Commissioner. He is special commissioner of police (administration). Bassi is an IPS officer of 1977 batch. According to order issued on Tuesday, he will take oath on Aug 1,2013. Bassi will succeed incumbent Neeraj Kumar who retires July 31.
