Ranchi: BJP leaders of Jharkhand on Thursday exhort Governor Syed Ahmed to dissolve the 82- member state assembly. Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Arjun Munda with BJP state president Ravindra Rai and others met with governor and requested him dissolve the state assembly for fresh polls.
Meanwhile another former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that his Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) would observe ‘black day’ in the state if any government was formed in the house.
According to official release, BJP also submitted a memorandum backing their demand. The move by BJP to call on the governor comes in the wake of Congress and JMM inching towards forming the ninth government in Jharkhand in a little over 12 years.
