New Delhi: After the Parliamentary Board meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party in presence of chief of campaign committee Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, general secretary of BJP Ananth Kumar said that the ruling party of country is under pressure from its allies and may go for snap polls.
Kumar said that the party is ready to face the polls in case if Congress calls for early General Elections. Giving details of BJP’s roadmap for the elections, the senior BJP leader said that “The party will contest the polls on the issue of corruption, economic policies, and rising prices and failure of the government on all fronts.”
Kumar said, “BJP is in election mode now and the party will hold more than 100 political rallies across the country.”
Ananth Kumar also makes aware about BJP’s strategy for the Lok Sabha polls. He said, “We have two strategies for elections. Our first strategy will be political rallies in the country and second is organisational. We will have a strategy for each booth and there will be several committees for this”.
Kumar said, “Party president Rajnath Singh and poll panel campaign chief Narendra Modi will discuss the issues with key BJP leaders and will create the strategies for the election.”
Kumar also attacked over the issue of Food Security bill, he said “The ruling party could have held discussion in Parliament and get the bill passed but they were doubtful of gathering support.”
