Bangalore: The bus service of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has suspended its roadways bus service to Andhra Pradesh due to protest in several part of Andhra over formation of Telangana state.
KSRTC officials admitted that passengers who have gone to various parts of Andhra Pradesh including Tirupati have been stranded. KSRTC is running buses only till Hindupur on the border.
Officials of KSRTC said that this was done as a precautionary measure after consultation with their counterparts in Andhra Pradesh. A total of 128 buses travel everyday to various parts of Andhra Pradesh.
