New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party election campaign panel chief Narendra Modi is likely to contest from both Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha seat in 2014 General Elections. This news has been confirmed from a source. Source also said that candidature of Narendra Modi has been backed by Rashtriya Swayamswvak Sangh (RSS). It is also known as Mohan Bhagwat (RSS chief) is the person who convinced senior leader Lal Krishna Advani to draw back his resignation and Advani also do the same. Advani had showed his oppose by giving his resignation to party president Rajnath Singh on elevation of Narendra Modi in Party.
Modi’s close aide Amit Shah, who is the party’s UP in-charge, has been given the responsibility to find the best possible option for the Gujarat Chief Minister. Sources also said that for the BJP to grow substantially it needs to grow in Uttar Pradesh and Modi is likely to contest from a seat in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
