New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday hit back at Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed for using derogatory remarks against Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi and said that the people of the country will make it absolutely clear in the coming days as to who is ‘Rambo and Mogambo’.
BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, “Actually, the fact is that the Congress leaders and ministers chant about Narendra Modi every morning. Their digestion is clear only after they use wicked words about Modi. I believe that in the coming days the people of the country will tell it all as to who is Rambo and Mogambo.”
BJP had hit back on the comment of Shakeel Ahmad who is currently spokesperson of Congress Party. Few days before, Ahmad said, “Some leaders of BJP are trying to portray one of its leaders as Rambo, who can climb hills and save lives of 15000 people.” “So, I have just said the one who tries to be Rambo ends up being a Mogambo.”
Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh had earlier this week also poked fun at Modi, saying he is rightly called a ‘feku’.
Digvijay Singh said, “There is a Times of India news item on the front page that within two days he has evacuated 15,000 pilgrims, while the fact is the Gujarat website says that the figure was about 600. Again there was a news item that he has offered 28 helicopters which again was denied by the official statement of the Gujarat Government. So, therefore he is rightly called a ‘feku’.”
