New Delhi: Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party Lal Krishna Advani had given the assurance to leader of Sangh Parivar that he would take up the issue to Centre of brutal murder of workers of various Hindu outfits in Tamil Nadu.
Advani had yesterday termed as a “grim tragedy” the murder of Tamil Nadu BJP General Secretary V Ramesh on July 19, and slammed the “rise” in incidents of attacks on members of saffron outfits.
Party sources from Coimbatore said that Advani had met with representatives of the BJP, RSS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Hindu Munnani, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) at Salem. They requested him that the issue is taken up with the central government.
Advani had assured to the delegation and said that he strongly condemned the attacks and assured it that he would take up the matter with the government.
