LG G2 launched in India, 16 GB version to cost Rs 41,500

LG-G2-Unboxing-7-1024x682New Delhi: LG Electronics has launched its new Smartphone, the G2 in India for a price of Rs 41,500 for the 16GB version, while the 32 GB version will cost Rs 43,490. The Smartphone is available for order on sites such as Flipkart and Saholic. With a price tag of Rs 41,500, the Smartphone should offer stiff competition to the Samsung Galaxy S4 which is currently retailing for Rs 38199 on Flipkart but has an official price tag of Rs 41,500. The Smartphone is also considerably cheaper than the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (priced at Rs 49,990) or the Sony Xperia Z (priced at Rs 44,990.)The Smartphone has a 5.2-inch full HD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (423 pixels per inch). The device also comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with Optical Image stabilization (OIS) technology as well (LG says this is the only 13 megapixel camera with OIS technology).

The Smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and will come with 32 GB and 16 GB storage space version. The device supports NFC, 4G LTE Internets, Bluetooth 4.0 and ships with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The Smartphone has 3000 mAh battery. According to LG, the G2 features 24-bit, 192 kHz sound, which is higher than the sound quality from an audio CD or MP3. LG is called this Studio Quality Hi-Fi sound. LG also said the phone will ship with ringtones optimized for 24-bit/192kHz. In terms of design LG has done something radical and shifted all the buttons to the rear. There are no side buttons in this Smartphone.
