Washington: Making some one feel happy is the best way to boost your own mood, and you can do this by just taking 10 seconds out of every hour during an eight-hour day and spent in an entirely different frame of mind. According to expert Jan Bruce, this exercise makes you change your mental channel, thereby creating a burst of warmth, energy, and peace. The new digital coaching system for stress, has suggested that in order to tune in to a better mood, you can just give someone your undivided attention by listening to a person patiently without making any interruptions.
The expert advised not to take the bait and let it go. You just need to tell yourself to let it slide off you and out of your attention and don`t waste any energy on it. It was suggested that taking even just a few minutes to do a friend, colleague, or your partner a favour can make you feel great. Bruce said that jot down the good stuff that happened at the end of a workday and why it matters to you. This will help shift your focus from the few disappointments, and onto the positive things that have the potential for growth, learning, and change.
