New Delhi: Kumar Vishwas, the senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party had said that it seems as a political conspiracy to target Arvind Kejriwal in the emergence of 11-month-old videos just 15 days before Delhi votes. Kumar Vishwas said, “The BJP and Congress are frustrated about the growing popularity of AAP. They should merge to defeat AAP.”
Another AAP leader Yogendra Yadav said, “We expect more mud-slinging in the next 48 hours.”
Earlier this week, Anna Hazare asked through a letter to Kejriwal to explain whether the funds they raised together in 2011 have been used for his Delhi campaign.
Meanwhile CDs which featuring Anna Hazare has been sent to AAP into an emergency huddle in the capital this morning, alleged from December last year. It had been sent few hours before the party releases its manifesto for the Delhi elections on December 4.
The CDs show the 76-year-old Anna telling associates at a meeting that he fears the Aam Aadmi Party is misusing names of people and funds collected “in my name” during an anti-graft crusade two years ago, in which Kejriwal played a leading role alongside the Gandhian activist.
Anna made clear yesterday in Maharashtra that Arvind Kejriwal “is not an enemy”. Anna also said that Kejriwal as “a good man” and said he worried only that his name must not be misused.
Kejriwal has assured that he will not contest the elections in Delhi if it is proven that he has misused the donations received by Anna and him two years ago.
