Mumbai: It wasn’t a cake walk for Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan to shoot for a romantic song ‘Naina’ from their upcoming film movie GORI TERE PYAR MEIN. Both Kareena and Imran had to travel for almost 12 hours from Mumbai to Way, a town in Maharashtra to shoot the song.
But due to rough weather, the team got stuck in landslide and got only an hour’s sleep before shooting the song. They also had to travel for another 3 hours within Way to reach the location just to shoot one antaraof the song. The film’s director Punit Malhotra added, ”When the two reached the location, Imran joked, saying Punit, run for your life. Kareena is coming with an axe to kill you!”
Despite inconveniences, both Imran and Kareena were still energetic about shooting the romantic number. ”Kareena had a lot of black coffee and I had to bribe Imran with good Parsi food,” recalls the director. ”I had to make them go across a huge rock and stand on the edge of a cliff for a shot. The good thing is that the shoot went off very well. The weather was also lovely as it was the monsoon season,” concluded Punit.
