Moscow: The Civil Defence Ministry said, an explosion on a bus in the southern Russian city of Volgograd has killed around 10 people. The Interfax news agency reported on Monday. Approximately 10 other people were injured in the blast.
Investigators said that incident bore a similar signature to those on Sunday and in late October in the city. A suicide attack at the city’s railway station on Sunday killed at least 17 people. In October, another suicide bomber killed at least six passengers on a Volgograd bus. Volgograd, an industrial city, is located 700 kilometers from Sochi, which is due to host the Winter Olympics in February.
