Jaipur: The BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje called to Governor of Rajasthan Margaret Alva to claim to form the government of BJP. Vasundhara Raje was accompanied with Gulabchand Kataria and other two party leaders.
Sources of Raj Bhawan said that the meeting lasted for a few minutes.
Meanwhile the oath ceremony will take place on December 13. On Monday, Vasundhara Raje was elected as the BJP legislature party leader in Rajasthan.
The proposal has been passed by BJP MLAs to Kataria to elect Raje, who was projected as the party’s chief ministerial candidate, as their leader.
In Rajasthan assembly election, BJP has secured a four-fifth majority. Notify that Congress could manage just 21 seats out of the 199 for which polling was held while BJP has record 162 seats.
