Chandigarh: A shoe had been thrown by a farmer over the Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh hooda while he was attending an official function at Dubwali in state’s Sirsa district on Sunday.
In a function of stone-laying ceremony of railway over-bridge, Hooda was addressing a gathering when Raja Ram allegedly tossed the footwear at him.
The shoe landed near the stage, they said adding Ram, a resident of Nathusari village in Sirsa, had been taken into custody.
