BJP didn’t seek permission to land chopper of Modi in Kolkata

ModiMinistry of Defence has denied giving permission to land the chopper of BJP’s PM Candidate Narendra Modi in Kolkata. Defiant state BJP supporters are condemning this vindictive approach of the central government stating that this intentional attempt would not dwindle the popularity of the leader.

Notify that BJP is in full swing to kick start the campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party for the upcoming general elections, however, Narendra Modi’s visit to the city has hit a hurdle.

Modi, who is expected to be accompanied by party national president Rajnath Singh and was supposed to arrive at Kolkata airport at noon from where he was further required to take a chopper ride to the Race Course on Wednesday for a rally.

Now Narendra Modi will now have to take the road route that is not only risky but may also intensify the traffic in the city.

State spokesperson of BJP, Ritesh Tiwari said, “Had it been for the first time, we could have said that it is not a vindictive approach from the Centre. But this is happening for the third time and it has proved that somewhere the central government is using the Defence Ministry in the form of a political front to ensure the occurrence of such things.”

Over 100 security personnel of Gujarat Police have flown in from the state to oversee the security arrangements. However, while expressing no faith in the state police, the party has decided to take control over the security of the ‘New Face of India’.

Over five hundred cops have been assigned to serve as a watch dog over the premises and closed door meetings with top Lal Bazar Police officers are being held to discuss last moment security preparations.

State president Rahul Sinha said, “Politically, this is the most important rally to form the Government of India. Others holding rallies out here are simply trying to showcase their strengths and power. Modi’s rally is the only one that aims to save the country and bring about a transformation in the nation. This rally shall bring in a lot of difference.”

Radial gangways and door frame metal detectors are being arranged for better management and control as immense crowd has been expected in the rally.

Closed-circuit Television cameras are being installed at every corner to monitor every single move of the crowd, while there are six watch towers covering the ground.
