New Delhi: In stinging comments, the Aam Aadmi Party on today accused the Congress of working hand in glove with the Uttar Pradesh police, a day after the party’s leader Kumar Vishwas claimed that he and his party workers were attacked allegedly by a group of Congress activists during a “Jhadu Chalao Yatra” in Amethi.
The AAP leader has now claimed to have a video showing the UP Police refusing to register FIR against the Congress workers who allegedly “attacked” AAP’s Yatra. Notably, Vishwas is the AAP candidate from the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency currently represented by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
Meanwhile, AAP member Ashutosh today questioned the UP Police’s refusal to file the FIR and called Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav “bhai-bhai”. On microblogging website Twitter, Ashutosh tweeted:
