Mumbai: A city sessions court on Monday examined two more witnesses in the alleged hit-and-run case involving actor Salman Khan, in which one person had died and four were injured.
While one of the witnesses, a dairy owner, said the actor was present at the scene of crime, the second witness said that Khan along with others came to the bar a few hours before the incident.
With these two, a total of 10 witnesses have been examined so far in the case. The matter will now be heard on Tuesday.
This is the fresh trial ordered by the court in the hit-and-run case for which the actor is facing trial.
The case dates back to September 28, 2002 when Khan’s Toyota Land Cruiser had rammed into a bakery in Mumbai’s suburb Bandra killing one and injuring four others who were sleeping on a pavement.
