Dehradun: Cloudburst in Netad village of Tehri district of Uttarakhand which leads to death of three women and three had been reported missing in wee hours on Thursday.
Netad village had been hitted by cloudburst at about 2.30 AM which cause flood in Ruis canal and flattening two houses.
Bodies of the three women identified as Lajja Devi, Mangla Devi and Rajjo have been recovered while a search is on to trace three others who went missing after the incident.
A seriously injured man has been pulled out of the rubble of the houses and admitted to Bauradi District hospital.
District Disaster Management officer of Tehri Ashish Semwal said that three women occupants of these houses were buried alive in their sleep. District administration had been on high alert to tackle the situation.
