New Delhi: Congress had made a clean sweep on all three Assembly seats of Uttarakhand after the bypoll result announced on Friday.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat had made a margin of over 19,000 votes against BJP’a BD Joshi from Dharchula seat.
Rekha Arya had registered his victory from Someshwar against BJP’s Mohan Lal Arya and Hira Singh Bisht had defeated Trivendra Singh Rawat of BJP from Doiwala.
At present, the Congress has 32 members in the state assembly while the BJP has 28 out of total of 70 membered Assembly of state.
