Mumbai: Maharashtra Congress in-charge Mohan Prakash had stated on Friday that the CM of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan will continue to hold the position of CM and end the speculations of a change in leadership in the state after the defeat of Congress in Lok Sabha elections.
Prakash said, “There will be no change in leadership, Prithviraj Chavan will remain the CM.”
It had been notified that Maharashtra was among the states where Congress faced its worst ever defeated.
Congress however badly suffered in Haryana too during Lok Sabha election still party not in mood to change the leadership in Haryana.
The senior leaders of Congress had cleared Hooda too, probably keeping in mind the upcoming Assembly elections in state.
