Facebook experiments with “Buy” button to boost sales of advertisers in USNew York: Facebook had done a new experiment to boost the sale of advertisers with the new button of “Buy”. It is the latest efforts of world’s biggest social networking site to help businesses boost their sale.

Facebook said in his statement on Thursday that the button will let people buy products directly from businesses without leaving Facebook.

A “Buy” button appears at the bottom of sponsored ads and is being tested by a limited group of several small- and medium-sized US businesses.

As the advertisement through Facebook increasing day by day, Facebook had done this effort for the benefit of businesses.

eMarketer claimed that Facebook will account for 7.8% of global digital advertisement spending this year, up from 5.8% in 2013.

eMarketer analyst Debra Aho said, “With this step, Facebook is becoming even more firmly established as a major player in direct response advertising, and though this test is still only a test, it’s a definite sign that Facebook wants to restart its efforts to become an e-commerce company as well.”

Facebook also assured the users to not share the credit and debit card information with other advertisers.

In January, Facebook said in a blog posting that it was working on offering more ways for direct-response marketers to communicate with Facebook users.

It has also been notified that mobile advertising is one of fastest-growing revenue categories of Facebook as about 80% of its users access the site on smart phones and other portable gadgets.

The earning of Facebook in the January-March quarter become about tripled and the revenue grew sharply as advertising revenue rises by 82%.
