New Delhi: The Foreign Secretaries of India and Pakistan had to meet in Islamabad on 25 of August. The two foreign ministers had made a telephonic conversation to decide the venue and date on Wednesday, 23 July.
Just a day after the oath ceremony of Narendra Modi as PM, the PM of both countries India and Pakistan had nodded to re-start foreign secretary level talks.
Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh during her talk with her Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Ahmad had raised the issue of firing on the Line of Control in which an Indian soldier was killed Tuesday.
She told Aizaz Ahmed that such incidents would act as impediments to the peace process.
