Bus falls into gorge in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya in which four people died including a woman and 32 injured. The bus was ferrying passengers from Shillong to Tura.
The accident took place late Thursday at Dollonggre area on the National Highway 51, about 300 km from state capital Shillong.
The District Police Commissioner of West Garo Khasi Hills Mukesh Kumar Singh said, “Four people died on the spot… Out of the 28 injured passengers, four are in a critical condition.”
He had insured for the investigation over the cause of accident.
