New Delhi: In a hit-and-run case in the national capital, a car ran over six rickshaw pullers sleeping on footpath in North Delhi’s Inderlok area leaving one seriously injured today.
The incident happened at around 2:00 am when the rickshaw-pullers were fast asleep on a footpath. The driver abandoned the car and fled after the accident.
The injured were rushed to the nearby Hindu Rao Hospital. As per police, the driver was probably drunk as alcohol bottles have been recovered from the car. A hunt is on to nab the accused.
