Bhopal: Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh had rejected suggestions that veteran leaders Atal Bihari Bajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi of BJP had been sidelined. He said on Wednesday that the BJP has had not sidelined its founder leaders by dropping them from the Parliamentary Board and said they are “guides and philosophers” for the party.
He said, “This question does not arise. They — party founders Atal Behari Vajpayee, L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi — are guides and philosophers of ours.”
Notify that BJP President Amit shah had marked a redical generation shift and dropped Bajpayee, Advani and Joshi from the parliamentary board of BJP.
Meanwhile BJP had included their names in the five membered “Margdarshak Mandal”.
Chouhan said, “The veteran leaders who spent their entire lives in building the party will continue to be our guides and philosophers. It is because of them lakhs of party workers have come up in life. Even in future, the government and the Sanghathan, will seek guidance from them.”
