New Delhi: The Supreme Court had directed Central government to resolve the issue of formation of government in National capital Delhi. The Court has asked the Centre over what steps has it taken to facilitate the formation of a government in Delhi.
The SC questioned why the MLAs should be sitting at home while directing the Central government to end the deadlock soon. It has also asked the Centre if it would keep the assembly in suspended animation as both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have maintained that they are not ready to form a government in Delhi.
The observation had been made by apex court while hearing the PIL of AP and said that Central leadership should make firm efforts in formation of Delhi government.
