BJP Chief urged Sena to settle seat-sharing dispute in friendly mannerKolhapur: National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah on Thursday urged its ally Shiv Sena to settle down the seat-sharing dispute in friendly manner as it is necessary that both parties contest together to end the Congress-NCP rule in Maharashtra.

Amit Shah while speaking at a rally in Kolhapur said his party will not compromise on self respect. “We have come two steps forward, now it’s your turn.”

He also said, “It is necessary that BJP and Sena contest the polls together to end the Congress-NCP rule in Maharashtra.”

Amit Shah is visiting Maharashtra as the BJP’s talks with the Sena were deadlocked over the number of seats each gets to contest.

Notify that Sena had already told BJP that its party will contest alteast 150 seats in 288-membered Assembly while BJP is insisting for 135 each. BJP had also contradiction over the CM candidate for state.
