Badaun: A minor girl had been died after she had been allegedly gang-raped by three youth in Badaun. Senior police officer on Wednesday said that she had been gang-raped when she had gone to fetch water in Civil Lines area.
Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh said that 16-year-old victim, a class XI student, was gang-raped by her neighbour and his two friends last evening.
He said, “The girl was taken to a private hospital in a serious condition, but doctors refused to admit her and she later died at her residence.”
He also said that the main accused Prashant Arora locked his house and fled with the accomplices.
Police said a case has been lodged against Prashant and the two aides under sections of IPC for murder, rape and under SC/ST Act and POSCO Act.
