New Delhi: The Delhi Metro is all set to start a dedicated feeder bus service from the Shivaji Stadium metro station of the Airport Express line from tomorrow. The route of this feeder bus service will cover approximately 13 kms and will be available from 8 AM to 8 PM daily.
It will start from Shivaji Stadium, and cover Patel Chowk Metro Station, Akashwani Bhawan, Krishi Bhawan, Patiala House, High Court, Pragati Maidan, Supreme Court, ITO, Delhi Gate, New Delhi Airport Metro station, Minto Road and Statesman House, before returning to the base station.
These feeder buses have been pressed into service to help commuters whose offices are located along this route and who may prefer to use Airport Express Line for commuting from Dwarka side.
The number of buses will be increased depending upon the response of public on this route, the official said.
Presently, the Delhi Aerocity Metro station of Airport Express Line is also running feeder bus services to facilitate the movement of passengers from the Aerocity station to Terminal-1 of the Domestic Airport and vice versa.
