New Delhi: Oommen Chandy, the Chief Minister of Kerala had welcomed the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising the Muslim community. Pm Modi had said in his interview, “Indian Muslims will live and die for India and will not dance to the tune of terror outfits such as al-Qaeda.”
Kerala CM meanwhile also maintained that if PM Modi was sincere in his statement about the Muslim community, he should put his words into practice.
He also said, “Anybody can change at any time. I am not objecting to that. But he should be ready to think realistically beyond politics.”
The statement of PM Narendra Modi had come at the time when all parties are accusing BJP for its stand over Hindu religion. It seems that this statement will work as covering gap with other communities from BJP.
