Lucknow: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had claimed that the main eye-witness of gang-rape and murder of Badaun case had been failed in lie-detector test.
CBI also recovered a mobile phone from him which he had earlier denied having.
Meanwhile one victim’s father had alleged discrimination on the part of the CBI during its investigation in the case.
He had claimed that police had destroyed the evidence and threatened that the family members would hang themselves from the same tree if “justice was not done in the case”.
He had urged to the Prime Minister for the justice.
As the chargesheet not filed within stipulated 90 days period, the five accused in the case, including the two constables, were recently granted bail from a local court.
