Agra: Shocking news comes from Agra district of Uttar Pradesh where a step-mother had buried a 6-year-old girl alive on Sunday. Police had arrested woman in the charge of murder.
Police said that 22-year-old accused Archana had buried the minor girl and told her husband that child was missing.
Police also said that Archana had confessed her crime in front of her nephew on Wednesday who later informed to police.
Archana later reportedly guided the cops to the spot inside the premises of a temple where the girl was buried. Her husband is a priest at the temple.
Police said, “After reaching the spot, the body of the girl was exhumed. A piece of cloth was stuffed into her mouth.”
Police officials also said, “Archana was jealous of the girl as she felt her husband could spend all his earnings on her ignoring her one-and-half-year-old child.”
