New Delhi: Subrata Roy, the chief of Sahara had seeks the extension of 10 days from Supreme Court to facilitate the deals of his hotels. He had been housed in the conference hall of the Tihar jail to facilitate the sale of his hotels in London and New York.
He said that he could not facilitate the sale as there are protests after media reports of Sultan of Brunei keen on buying that have delayed the sale process.
He also said, “Negotiations with a buyer are on the verge of collapse and I need to hold talks with other 3-4 buyers who are in line to buy the properties. If time is not extended, the entire deal would be scrapped.”
